Lotus Alpha is the NetWave access point family — one indoor unit, one outdoor unit, managed from the same console as your switches and gateway.
Two units cover the whole estate. The indoor Lotus Alpha mounts to ceilings, walls and above false ceilings — offices, wards, classrooms, guest floors, retail. The outdoor unit is built for poles, masts, parapets and facades — yards, car parks, quadrangles, platforms and open circulation. Both run the same firmware, the same policy and the same management plane.

Designations such as Lotus Alpha LX, Alpha Platinum, Lotus XP-1241D, Omni 1200 and OD-1200 appear in older quotations and tender documents. Ask us which models are in the current shipping range for your requirement rather than working from an archived list.
For guest or public access with a captive portal, authentication and policy, yes — see NetGuard controllers. For a straightforward corporate SSID managed from the cloud, NetCloud Central may be sufficient. Our engineers will tell you which applies to your design.
